Welcome to The New Farmhouse, a splendid self catering lodge for up to 8 guests nestling at the western edge of the Scottish Borders with its captivating countryside. The pretty town of Biggar is less than 2 miles away, where you will find everything you need including restaurants and a small supermarket.

Enjoy delightful views all round. The sheep and cows grazing in the fields, buzzards soaring above the bewitching Wood hill and maybe you’ll see the heron stalking the little stream. While you relax the children play in the large secure garden with its swings and little playhouse. If the weather allows have a barbeque, if not snuggle up in the cosiness of your holiday lodge in front of the wood burning stove.

You are in an excellent central location for all your holiday activities. Edinburgh and Glasgow are easily reached and the world class mountain biking centre of Glentress is half an hour by car. Enthralling hill walks, plenty golf courses and fishing on the Clyde or the Tweed – you can do it all.
