SPIRITS & SPOOKS AT TRAQUAIR THIS HALLOWEEN! A Jacobite Ghost Tour Friday 27th October & Saturday 28th October 7pm & 9pm Get into the spirit of Halloween this year with a very different tour of Traquair House where characters from the past come alive and tell you their tales of daring deeds and frightening times as they struggled to support the Jacobite cause.

BIGGAR LITTLE FESTIVAL  A family-friendly festival in the historic market town of Biggar – a small town at large!  Join us to celebrate music, dance, arts and crafts, literature, and drama. Biggar will be filled with an eclectic programme of workshops, exhibitions, children’s events, performances, a craft and food fair, and festival clubs.  Thursday 19th – Sunday 29th October 2017

 Drumlanrig Castle – Self guided walk and Stable yard quiz.  A chance for families to combine a healthy stroll whilst learning about the wonderful surroundings of Drumlanrig Castle.

Dawyck Botanic Garden Dawyck is truly one of the world’s finest arboreta. Seasonal displays of abundant exotic and native plants provide a breathtaking backdrop of colour throughout the year.
