The lodge stands at the edge of our organic farmland. Surrounded by peaceful fields and wonderful views, which stretch across to Tinto hill to the west and south to Broughton. Our farm steading at Cambwell lies at the other side of Wood hill about 1 mile by road.
By road:
From the South, exit at junction 13 of the M74 for A702 Edinburgh/Lanark then at roundabout take 2nd exit for Biggar A702. Once through Biggar take right for Peebles on A72. The New Farmhouse is prominently situated to the rear of the developed Skirling Mill farm steading about ¾ of a mile on the left.
From the North, from the Edinburgh City bypass take the A702 Carlisle then take left just before Biggar on to the A72 and follow directions as above.
By bus:
There are buses to Biggar from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dumfries.
By train:
Train stations are located at Lanark and Carstairs see the First Group website for timetables and fares.
By air:
